37Necklaces Cheddar 5 Year Extra Sharp White

Wisconsin is leading in Cheddar production, which makes it no surprise that aged Cheddar is one of our most popular cheeses. Cheddar is usually known for its trademark yellow color, as the cheese is colored with annatto (a natural dye). This Wisconsin Cheddar does not contain color additives and has been aged for 5 Years, giving it an incredible sharp flavor with just the right amount of bite! As cheddar ages it loses its smooth, firm texture and becomes more granular and crumbly, making it perfect for sandwiches, casseroles and Mac N Cheese. Cubed it becomes an amazing addition to any gourmet cheese plate. There are several types of Cheddar cheese made in America: mild, medium, sharp and extra-sharp (depending on age), and white Cheddar. According to a United States Department of Agriculture researcher, Cheddar cheese is the world's most popular variety of cheese, and the most studied type of cheese in scientific publications.
